Robert brings over a decade of experience in finance, accounting, and operational leadership to his role at the Pictou County Partnership. He supports programs that drive business growth, assist newcomer entrepreneurs, and attract economic investment—all while focusing on quality of life as a foundation for long-term development. He’s especially committed to retaining local talent, supporting youth, and helping newcomers build strong connections in the region.

Originally from Pictou, where his family has deep roots, Robert was an exchange student in the Netherlands before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University. He and his wife spent a year in South Korea teaching English before he began his career in Ottawa in 2008. In 2011, they moved to Pictou County, where his roles progressively grew in finance, control, and business support.

Robert brings his sense of adventure to all that he does—especially hiking, travel, and watching his children thrive in Pictou County.
