Maxine brings over a decade of experience working with and supporting community impact organizations to the Pictou County Partnership. She fosters collaboration by working with organizations to build capacity and creates connections when opportunities align. Maxine is committed to increasing capacity across local non-profits, grassroots initiatives and community leaders, notably in the space of funding, proposals and grant writing.
Maxine calls the East River Valley home. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from what is now Dalhousie Agriculture Campus, where her interests in rural, agricultural, and environmental policy were founded. Since 2014, Maxine has been involved in community impact work in the not-for-profit sector where she worked collaboratively with individuals, organizations, businesses and government to achieve a common vision.
Outside of work and attending her daughters sporting events, Maxine can often be found spending time in nature whether it be hiking and tenting, or teaching yoga at a park.
